"Edmonton's Mike Gouchie
took home best male artist and best country album for One of a Kind at last night's Canadian Aboriginal Music Awards.
Rock group Eagle and Hawk,
Susan Aglukark and Northern Cree were also among the winners. Awards were presented in 19 categories at a celebration
last night, hosted by Lorne Cardinal of TV's Corner Gas."

Best Country Album
and will be performing at the WCMAs in Calgary.
Summer 2004
Mike has been very busy throughout the summer
with appearances at the Global All Star Concert, the Telus Field Global Country All Star Softball Game and on the
Edmonton Queen in June followed by performances and workshops at the Big Valley Jamboree and Edmonton Klondike
Days.

Mike Gouchie returns to Alberta
with the North American Country Music Association's 2004 International Traditional Country Male Vocalist Of The
Year Award!
Mike Gouchie qualified for the competition in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee by winning the Country Vocal Spotlight competition
during the Canadian Finals Rodeo Week at Edmonton Northlands last fall.
