Mike
Gouchie
"Mike's reputation as a go-getter and
hard working artist is leaving an impressive mark with people in the music business and is earning him many new
friends in the industry. His fresh new sound is being played on airwaves around the world from Tokyo to Arizona,
back to Canada and beyond."

Bad Boys and Angels
"Bad Boys & Angels suggests that
Mike Gouchie can play in Nashville's big leagues...
Originally self-released in 2005, the debut album by Canadian country singersongwriter Mike Gouchie was reissued
in 2006 by Arbor Records, a small EMI distributed label specializing in traditional Native American music. Hearing
Bad Boys and Angels without reading Gouchie's bio, the listener would be forgiven for
not picking up on Gouchie's First Nations (the preferred general term in Canada, much as Native American is used
in the states) roots. Born and raised on the Canadian prairies, Gouchie no doubt grew up steeped in Nashville country,
a musical style with surprisingly deep roots in Canada's western and central provinces; as a result, Bad Boys and Angels
has the neotraditionalist twang and no bull blue collar ethic an American listener might expect from a singersongwriter
from west Texas..."

"Random Musings from the Luckiest Man in the World"
"... For those of you who may not know, Mike was in the Plucked series and was kind enough to ask me to direct
his video, ‘Angels Unaware’ for that series ... Mike was kind enough to invite me to be his guest at the Canadian
Aboriginal Music Awards in Toronto ... It was a night of great spirit, great music, and Mike’s performance killed.
Mike also won the award for Country Album of the year. Not bad. I can’t wait to attend next year’s awards."

Here are reviews from around the world about Mike's latest

Two favorite cuts
1. Somethin' Bout A Bad Boy
2. Picture Daddy with You
Comment: A very impressive CD.
Mike has a great way of presenting both his own songs, which are very well written, and those of other writers.
His silky smooth voice demonstrates his vocal control and does justice to both the upbeat tunes and the quieter
introspective melodies such as "Picture Daddy With You".

"...Bad Boys & Angels, a solid
collection of Nashville-penned tunes all delivered with Mike Gouchie’s impressive vocal skills.
The album’s lead single, Somethin’ ‘Bout
A Bad Boy has been quick off the mark, earning
some good airplay across Canada. There are several more solid efforts here that should attract similar interest.
Whole Lot A Love and Long
Way Over You are both full of energy; while
Gouchie’s strong voice is best defined on ballads like If
Only, New Mountain To Climb, What It All Comes Down To
and Who I Ain’t."

"It was a pleasure talking with you
this evening. As I mentioned I have added to our play list, your single and album "BAD BOYS AND ANGELS"
on our daily syndicated show THE BEST OF COUNTRY, which is carried coast to coast on 78 stations.
In addition to new Single "Somethin' Bout a Bad Boy" being added, other selections from the album will
be featured each day. Your album proves you're another fine talent from Canada. Your album has good production,
the material is well written and the nice vocals make this a WINNER. I wish you continued success with your career."

" Many thanks for the "Bad Boys
& Angels" CD album. Great work. All of your music is absolutely right for the format of my radio show.
Audience response has been very, very good from the first day on, especially for "Troublemaker", "Somethin'
'bout a bad boy" and "If only", but I'm also spinning all the others. Again thanks and keep in touch."

"I'm a DJ/PD from Japan and running REAL COUNTRY RADIO (web station worldwide) and LONESTAR CAFE SHOW and
other regular country radio shows locally in Tokyo and area.
I've received your BAD BOYS AND ANGELS CD. Oh, What a Great Vocal Album!!!!!! So dramatic, with a good taste of
melancholy. I'm totally blown away and impressed. You know, I usually don't taste tears when I review material
promoters provide to us. You can imagine that we're constantly receiving discs. But this one's totally different.
I had to drink my coffee black when I finished listening to all the tracks
In a hurry I added "Picture Daddy With You" and "Who I Ain't" onto our playlist. Our weekly
playlist goes to New Music Weekly. As far as I can, I will support your music from my station to the World. I will
put your CD cover art on my station website, and spotlight comments on both New Talent as well as the New Release
page. Thanks again for your great music and I hope to watch your shows as soon as possible."

"Titolo: Bad Boys & Angels
Artista: Mike Gouchie
tutto heavy metal, borchie e Harley.
nell’espressione “on the road”.

Mike Gouchie -- Soaring to New Heights
"From Toronto to Tennessee! From the
Aboriginal Festival at the Sky Dome to the stage of the Ryman Auditorium! There is one awesome Canadian gentleman
that is stirring up the radio sound waves and ‘Soaring to New Heights’.
Greetings everyone! Things are heating up at the Wigwam! It is my very great privilege to introduce to you – MIKE
GOUCHIE or, as his friends call him, “The GOUCH!” He is a ‘Red Hot’ singer, songwriter, and musician! This gentleman
is ‘tattooed’ with raw and refined talent! He makes one think about taking better care of one’s body, one’s dreams,
and one’s loved ones! Last, but far from least to say about him is “WHAT A VOICE!”

"Among all the voices in Canadian Country Music today,
Mike Gouchie's is one of the very few I would place at the top."
Alan Rhody, singer/songwriter
"Mike Gouchie is an extraordinary example of the vitality of country music in Canada!!" Mike Gouchie is smack in the middle of mainstream country
western rock, that is, traditional with just enough of a rock beat to keep any modernist happy without offending
those who like the more traditional flavours."

"Mike Gouchie....a great writer,
a natural talent! One of my favorite voices around!"
-Lisa Hewitt
"Mike
Gouchie has one of those rich and seductive kind of voices that pulls you right into the song he's singing. His music is authentic nitty gritty country but even better
cause it's indian-style! Nashville look out"

award
NASHVILLE - Mike Gouchie says he's thrilled
to be named International Traditional Country male vocalist for 2004. The singer, who was born in Prince George,
B.C., and now lives in Edmonton, took the prize at the North American Country Association International competition
in Tennessee. Nearly 600 competitors from across North America took part. Gouchie says his next step is to record
a 10-song CD, put together a band and tour.
